I lived next door to the Hills most of my first 17 years. Loved them all dearly. Went over to their house constantly, on my own, as I grew up and even after I lived in Madison for many years. Catherine was always so sweet and wanting to make sure I had everything I needed. All I needed was their company. Still searching, at the holidays, for a stollen to equal that of Mrs. Hill's. (I was the last person to see Mrs. Hill as she died shortly after I left the hospital.) Catherine and I only lost touch these past couple of years. I was blessed to have such wonderful and loving neighbors as I grew up. Time spent there will always be among my cherished memories.

I am sorry to hear about Catherine's passing. She was my Dad's first cousin. Dad baby sat for the Hill kids when he was a boy. It was always a nice visit for me when I was with Catherine. Mary Kay Winkowski Ehlers
