Elvera L. "Vera" Neske (nee Thiede) passed away December 13, 2017 at Luther Manor at the age 97 years.  Beloved wife of the late Harold K. Neske who passed away on December 22, 2005.  Dear sister of the late Gilbert J. Thiede. Sister-in-law of Ruth Feuerstahler. Dear Aunt to Karl (the late Susie) Thiede, Richard (Susan Penl) Thiede and Darlene Steffan. Great Aunt of Christopher (Amanda) Thiede, Alanna (Andy Molnar) Thiede, Erin (Christopher) Plunkett and Paul Rudd. Great-great Auntie to Hannah, Ella and Owen Plunkett and Emily Thiede. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Special friend of Bill and Terri Lusk.  Vera was an active volunteer at Luther Manor and she was a long time member of St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church, Milwaukee.  Memorials to her Church are appreciated. Visitation on Monday, December 18th. beginning at 11am followed by Services at 1pm all at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church, 8444 W. Melvina Street, Milwaukee. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Cemetery, Wauwatosa.
