"Jack" John Wm. O'Dell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his two children Patrick (Carol), Daniel (Cathy) and his granddaughters  Emily, Ruby and Vanessa.  He was preceded in death by his wife Sonia E. (nee Cverko) O'Dell in 1992. His longtime partner and best friend was Ann Lappen whose grandchildren Lauren and Emily also became his granddaughters. He loved to talk about his childhood in Tigerton, WI and his favorite cars from Chevrolet.He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked for Briggs and Stratton for 40 years, He was active in his church, and did everything from running bingo to being an usher. In his later years he volunteered for the Saint Vincent's Society for his church. He was responsible for keeping the food pantry well stocked and getting furniture to people in need.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 7th. beginning at 12 noon  at Mother of Good Counsel Church, 6924 W. Lisbon Ave., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm.  Military Honors will follow  the Services at the church. . In lieu of flowers donations  can be made to the Mother of Good Counsel Saint Vincent Society.
