Sylvia Edna Germain-Degnitz  (nee Raasch) passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 in Fond du Lac at the age of 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Fred Germain and the late Norton Degnitz. Dear mother of Fredrick (Elaine) Germain, Richard (Beverly) Germain, Dennis (Mary) Germain, Margery Wiita, Mary (Robert) Wildman, Nancy (Richard) Larrick, Barbara (James Klas) Willacker and Thomas (the late Jackie) Germain. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives and dear friends. Sylvia was a Past-President of Local 264 of the Carpenter's Auxillary. She was also a member of St. Catherine's Parish in Milwaukee for many years and was a store manager for W. H. Heinemann's Bakery for many years. She loved to bowl.

Visitation on Friday, June 16th., beginning at 10AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM all at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI. Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee.
